For nearly twenty years now, practitioner after practitioner have contacted us to get machines that work. Most have a collection of ridiculous and completely useless devices that bear Rife's name. Again, these are mostly devices that are good enough to prove the theory, but bear no resemblance to the level of technology and know-how it takes to actually perform the therapy.
     It stands to reason that if a qualified medical practitioner has been defrauded not once, but many times, that doctor will loose faith in the technology and may very well fail even with a good machine due to a lack of confidence. When even the well intended doctor cannot distinguish between a really effective instrument and a fake, the average user has no chance at all.
     Much like a drug, if there is even the smallest percentage of the drug in a pill, they are not lying to you that it is present in the contents of the pill, but if you have no way to know what the percentage is, you can't know if you are being ripped off, even when you take the pill. Since there is some actual content, in severe cases, there may well be some genuine improvement in the person's condition for a short time, and once convinced, they keep taking it. This is what is now destroying the Homeopathic industry. The real homeopathic practitioners are being diluted by a large number of unethical practitioners, who actually put a small, non-homeopathic amount of conventional drugs in their pills, instead of taking the time to make real homeopathic remedies. Users cannot tell the difference. Only large scale comparative analysis and statistics can reveal the truth about their effectiveness. Even that would be useless if the results were to be falsified.
     Long before the vast majority of web promoters and Rife machine makers existed, JWLABS was making authentic instruments. For a while, we were the only genuine machine available, and we said so. But as time went on, more and more "wannabes" learned how to do it, from us, and perhaps from other reliable sources. We do not say that we are the one and only anymore, because to do so would be a lie. For any maker to presume that they make the only real Rife machine at this late date, would be moronic. Even if it were true in this country, it is certainly not the case world wide. But as soon as we said we make the only real Rife machine, which was true at the time, others started saying the same thing.
     We would very much like to believe that there are other legit makers out there. Just because we don't know any, doesn't mean they don't exist. If they do, they will probably be "caught between a rock and a hard place" in the same way others have been. How they deal with the difficulties of the business, will determine their longevity. There are short, and comparatively inexpensive ways to seek approvals in the US, but there are ethical reasons why this is probably not the best way for the Rife machine to proceed. Certain Malthusian policies are in place that influence the entire body politic. The reliability of approval procedures are certainly in doubt. An approval that is obtained by inexpensive means may easily lead to dangers being overlooked, and the approval to be subsequently revoked. This would have a negative effect on public opinion, and in turn do harm to the future of the Rife technology as a whole.
     In our early days, we did not believe that approval would ever be possible. We felt that conventional medicine would attempt to usurp the technology, and claim it for their own. This would of course, be fraud. In anticipation of these eventualities, we made appropriate provisions in advance, which assure that the worst cannot happen, or at least, cannot prevail for long.
Since the FDA gets about 20% of their funding directly from the drug business, it is no surprise that there is some abuse of their authority. But the truth is that the FDA, the FTC, and the AMA employ mostly sincere Americans, perhaps poorly informed ones, but who are nevertheless trying to do a fair and honest job.
     Manufacturers of Rife machines who have a genuine commitment to the technology, also are sincerely trying to help people and therefore, have nothing to hide. They do not cower, they do not lie or plagiarize, and they take care of their customers. An honest manufacturer expects to be in business a long time, and they will rely more on their reputation than they do on their marketing. Such business people will not have hundreds of complaints at the Better Business Bureau. Again, because they take care of their customers, as they should.
     The unscrupulous, will only be in business for a short time, but will lay claim to a long tradition. Only a handful of manufacturers in history can say that they obtained their core data from genuine sources. The hundreds of other so-called Rife machines have taken their data second hand, by plagiarizing and reverse engineering other maker's products and intellectual property. These will not have done their homework and do not have the expertise to really care for customers over the long haul.
     When the support is there, and the knowledge is there, users should be able to realize the results they were promised more than 90 percent of the time. But lacking this support, users and practitioners alike will fail, even with the best instruments.
     Founded originally in 1931, Wright Laboratories (JWLABS) does not dwell on the shortcomings of the agencies that are responsible for law enforcement. We intend to stay in business. When the time comes, we will get our technology approved. In the mean time, we will continue to abide by the law, tell the truth, and give customers the best support that we possibly can. This is our commitment to service, and to the many thousands of people who rely on that service.
     It is also our responsibility to make the best possible devices at the lowest possible price. We have done this at great expense. Those who choose to copy our work, will not be able to use it competently. Their customers are going to be hurt and when they are, the authorities, sooner or later, will move in.
     We have always offered newcomers to the manufacturing business of Rife machines an opportunity to coexist with us, on a basis that permits them to take full advantage of everything that we know, simply by giving us credit where the credit is due. So far, no one has taken this offer. We have to assume that if they will steal from us, they will steal from their customers. If they are thieves, then, what thief is not also a liar?
     We are sorry to have to report this sad state of affairs in the Rife machine industry. Users and potential users can help the situation by taking care to avoid scenarios where there exists obvious misrepresentation, and they can better accomplish this by studying, and coming to a reasonable understanding of the technology before they plunk down their payment. If possible, visit with a representative, ask hard questions and don't take double-talk for an answer. If their answers do not make sense to you, stop. Study more. Learn what questions to ask so you can understand the right answers when you hear them. If a visit is not possible, don't get in a hurry. Be suspicious of anyone who pressures you into anything.
