Over the years, I have hinted at these little scientific anomalies, and even displayed them blatantly, to determine their value as bait. Having done so, interestingly enough, has actually brought a higher level of scientific inquiry. Probably, it is time to put at least the most troubling of these to rest. In retrospect, I remember my chief engineer at the time, looking at me with a jaundiced eye over such words as "transducer", "harmonics", and "square wave". He was a brilliant man. He was also a very dedicated scientist and mathematician, with an IQ over 145. Tom was also a career military man, and as such, had a habit of accepting authority. Good thing too, because he nearly talked me out of that little gambit. Now I am glad he didn't because the "flags" have provided us with a means of exposing plagiarists.
As regards the square wave, the true purpose has nothing to do with harmonics whatsoever. Although it may be true that it has a greater harmonic potential than other wave forms, this harmonic property is almost entirely irrelevant to transdermal applications, contrary to popular belief.
The AAA article in question, though very nicely written and apparently not guilty of plagiarism, is the very embodiment of the sort of material omissions that I find to be most grievous. While they have gone to some length to explain their position on what are called "true Rife frequencies", not a word is said about the fact of microbial electrocution, an effect that has its own relevant set of mortal frequencies in the audio range. The other, much more serious omission has to do with the collateral damage done to the bodily tissues through exposure to frequencies that produce harmonics in, or near the microwave range.
In an article by Evenstar, a maker of such "Plasma Tube" devices, FAQ #1. it is clearly stated:
" ...It simultaneously transmits a highly complex deep broadband photonic energy spectrum rich in ultrahigh electromagnetic frequency harmonics, ranging from about 750 KHz up to 3 MHz with harmonics extending up to 300 GHz that discharge through the vacuum plasma tubes..."
By definition, the practical microwave range begins at about 300 KHz to 300 MHz. Bioactive frequencies in this range not only kill human cells, but are known to be carcinogenic in nature.
During Rife's life, very little was known about the dangers of high power, microwave energy. Virtually nothing had been proven of these dangers until long after his death in 1971. Today, however, a great deal is known. Power companies, cell phone manufacturers and the like are doing their best to convince us that these effects are harmless. The conventional medical community would also have us ignore the effects of X-ray radiation. The construction industry would have us ignore the effects of asbestos. There are many other very unhealthful contaminants in our environment which were introduced at a time when the harmful effects were as yet unknown.
Companies that manufacture such products have a two fold problem once these facts come to light. First, they have a vested interest in the product, and wish to continue to produce them, even when the dangers to the public are known to them. Second, they have a serious liability problem even if they stop producing them. They become entrapped by these factors, and are literally unable to "come clean" because of the potential for a great many allegations and lawsuits to be leveled against them.
It becomes a propaganda campaign. For example, we have all seen the many commercial advertisements that try to demonize the tobacco industry. No one is saying that smoking is good for you, but such commercials are often followed by an SUV commercial. For what it is worth, automobiles destroy roughly 20,000 cubic miles of atmosphere per year. More damage in one month than has been done by all the tobacco smoke in its entire 2000 year history.
The public is asked to conveniently ignore a great many obvious incongruities in the advertising propaganda that they are exposed to. On one hand, we are to believe that sunlight causes cancer, but on the other hand, we are to assume that X-rays do not. This is perfectly ridiculous.
Smoking causes cancer, but automotive exhaust does not. Sheer nonsense.
Driving a car is about a thousand times more physically dangerous to everyone involved, than smoking a cigarette. There are dozens of toxic compounds and known carcinogens that we are exposed to while driving. This constant exposure, combined with the non-ionizing radiation from broadcast, (the overcast) and an annual chest x-ray, probably accounts for most of the lung cancer cases better than trying to blame it all on tobacco.
